Pest issues should be addressed promptly to reduce the risk of serious long-term damage to your home and/or solar panels.

Our expert solar technicians will remove any pest-related debris, restore your panels and wiring, and repair your roof, as needed. For an additional charge, we can also install a Critter Guard around your solar panels to prevent pest-related issues, and we will identify any areas surrounding your home that could be contributing to the problem and remediate accordingly.

Climate in the Northeast can be unpredictable. Falling leaves, heavy winds, snow storms and weeds can all put your solar system at risk. If dust and debris collect on your solar panels, production could be significantly affected. Our expert SunnyMac technicians will clean any weather-related debris off your panels, remove vegetation overgrowth and even put a plan in place to prevent any future vegetation growth on or near your system.

Dirt and debris, among other factors, can also affect the aesthetics of your solar system and thus your home! In addition to providing a full-cleaning service for your system, we will also offer solutions to make your system appear more aesthetically pleasing. This could include tightening up or covering disheveled wires, organizing system parts or even upgrading your panels to look more modern and blend in effortlessly (additional cost of new parts may apply).

Whether you are purchasing a home with rooftop solar panels or have owned a system for many years, an inspection can help you understand the overall health of your solar energy system. SunnyMac Solar’s experienced solar panel technicians will conduct a thorough evaluation – including your panels, inverters, electrical system and wiring – and analyze historical and current energy production levels. Furthermore, we will identify existing vulnerabilities to your system and upgrade as needed.

All analysis findings and recommendations will be documented in a detailed inspection report, which may be used as a reference in a home sale, or as a guide for technicians completing future repair work.

SunnyMac Solar will run weekly reports on your solar system, and if any alerts appear for any reason, we will contact you with what the problem is and what we need to do to resolve it. You will be given a personalized quarterly report of your system’s production and efficiency that you can reference for any future concerns. Furthermore, in the report we will compare your actual production to the production estimated in your contract to make sure that everything is running as expected. By having a service representative monitor your system regularly, we can guarantee that any issues with production will not go unnoticed for more than a week.
